our bodies are powerful and trustworthy, and they are always trying to keep us safe. sometimes, we don't understand what our bodies are doing, and sometimes our bodies are stuck in old patterns that aren't helping us do what we need and want to do. i am here to help you become more fluent in communication with your body & thus to take action that aligns with your deeper needs, desires, and aspirations.
you can choose to work with me 1:1 or in small groups.
1:1 sessions: in these sessions, we will define
group sessions: overview
All my group programming is trauma-sensitive and consent-based, centering the inherent wisdom and power of the body. I offer the following groups and workshops regularly, and I welcome requests from events, festivals, schools, and organizations to facilitate any of the following for them, or to adapt or create custom programming!
Somatics for Grounding & Containment
In this workshop, participants will learn nurturing somatic practices for grounding and containment, including how to adjust and adapt practices for their own bodies and for different moments. Grounding and containment practices are essential parts of any emotional/mental health emergency response toolkit: they help dial it down a few notches, make space to take a breath, and connect to a sense of safety. Professionals, parents, partners, friends, and others love telling folks how one should ground or contain when big shit comes up, but often it's not clear how to figure out what truly works. Through a guided process of sensing consent in their bodies, participants will leave this workshop with at least a few reliable practices that can be used preventatively or urgently during rough times, flip-outs, and meltdowns.
Simple Tools for Skillful Boundaries
Boundaries: one of the hardest damn things to figure out, amirite? In this workshop, participants will learn a simple, practical process for figuring out their boundaries, articulating those boundaries to those who need to know about them, and maintaining those boundaries. Through embodied activities, participants will also develop a deeper understanding of their relationship to setting boundaries, and receive reflection of the agency and power they already hold. Boundaries exist to structure our lives so that more of what we desire and need gets in, and more of what drains and hurts us stays out: developing our skills around setting boundaries allows us to take better care of ourselves, have more mutually nurturing relationships, and ride the up & down ferris wheel of life with more resilience.
Sex and intimacy require consent–but have you ever found it hard to know whether you want to say yes or no, or felt unsure afterwards? In this workshop, participants will be offered tools to learn and recognize what yes, no, and maybe feel like in their bodies. This workshop will offer a simple framework participants can use to make decisions about consent, and to continuously add to their knowledge of what works and feels good for them. The approach taught in this workshop is based in mindfulness, curiosity, self-compassion, and self-accountability. While this will be a space where explicit sex talk is welcomed, consent and bodies aren't only about sex, and neither are the skills and activities we'll be working with. If sex is not so much your jam, this workshop will likely still be interesting and relevant!
Femme Lineage Writing Workshop
How do we channel creation through our bones and blood, to keep our momentum and confidence as creators ourselves? This is a workshop for femme-identified & femme-adjacent* folks of all genders to come together and write within a lineage of femme creators and ancestors. A writer is someone who writes; no previous experience is necessary! Together, we will explore and build narratives of our own lineages as creators and artists, grounded in the revolutionary work of femmes who have come before us. Participants will have opportunities to co-create a writing lineage altar, ask for knowledge and support from their bodies, to play with the glosa form as conversation with and invocation of a femme ancestor or mentor, to create new work using a variety of concrete and evocative prompts, and to give and receive feedback on that work (if desired) in a powerfully vulnerable and supportive environment.
Intensives & Multi-Week Groups
Somatics for Trauma Beasties
Somatics for Trauma Beasties is an eight-week therapeutic somatics group for people with borderline personality disorder and/or PTSD, including those who are undiagnosed, self-diagnosed, professionally diagnosed, or ambivalent about diagnosis. BPD and PTSD are both “disorders” where trauma and abuse are held solidified in our bodies, impacting our perceptions of self, others, and reality. These trauma beasties are sensitive, smart parts of us that offer powerful knowledges about ourselves, others, and the world we live in. At the same time, these trauma beasties often bring intense experiences of mindfuckery, shame, violence, and self-doubt. This group will use narrative therapy, peer-to-peer skillsharing, and trauma-informed, consent-based somatics to help participants tune into their bodies’ wisdom, collaborate with their bodies in nurturing and stabilizing ways, and practice new ways of holding and being with the beasties.
Navigating Non-Monogamy: Tools for Self-Accountability
This eight-week therapy group is for people who are seeking tools to navigate non-monogamy in ways that meet their individual needs while also being ethical and kind to other people in their relationship constellations. Many people find it hard to determine where their boundaries should be, to enact those boundaries, to own their shit, and to recognize which shit belongs to which relationship. Participants will be guided through a process of defining core values and needs in different relationships, setting and holding boundaries, recognizing power dynamics and social hierarchies within relationships, and troubleshooting common issues. This group is a combination of psychoeducation and support: participants will learn and practice tools to take into their everyday lives as well as have a chance to voice their unique experiences and concerns. This group is for people who are currently practicing non-monogamy, which may include being single, dating, partnership/s, and any combination of friendship, sex, romance, and play that falls outside of monogamy. Partners and dates are welcome to join the group together, but the group will be facilitated to emphasize individual work.
Shadow Writing Workshop
Hovering beneath the surfaces of what is deliberate and composed are the selves unfit for expression; the parts of us we see as decidedly unworthy, unlovable and bad.
We carry these secrets, murmuring vibrations under our skin. We avert our eyes, deep blush, clenched jaw, straining to swallow.
What would happen if we were to give voice to our demons? If we allowed them to speak their inexcusable truths and unforgivable thoughts? If we permit them space in the body and an articulation on the page?
What if we pulled our heads from beneath the covers, got out of bed and dragged our shadows somewhere they would be welcomed? What if there were a togetherness in this?
In this weekend-long writing workshop, you will be guided on an underworld journey of encounters with shadow selves and inner monsters. Within a care-full and intentional structure, we will listen to their hisses and whispers, and respond with strong embraces and soothing caresses. We will use writing, embodied practice, and collective wisdom to sense our ways into new relationships with these places and parts; to bring breath into the secrets lodged in the soft caverns of our bodies.
We believe that in knowledge and transformation, there is liberation to be lived.
a tarot reading is a collaborative place to make sense of the context you are currently moving through: a question, transition, desire, problem, conflict, or moment. using my intuition, your impressions, and the cards' imagery, we will explore what's happening, what resources you have, and what you need. a system based in cyclical time, archetypes, and human experience, the tarot often offers perspectives we would not have come up with on our own.
my approach is direct and compassionate, grounded in the belief that all bodies inherently move towards healing.
i read with a variety of tarot decks that center queer, trans, disabled, and BIPOC folks, including the collective tarot and thea's tarot.

born at home and raised with a midwife as my primary healthcare provider, i've had birth work and reproductive justice at the center of my life for as long as i can remember.
currently i offer a small full-spectrum doula practice, working with only one client at a time. as a full-spectrum doula, i offer support for many reproductive and parenting transitions, including conception, pregnancy, birth, adoption, and losses including infertility, abortion, and miscarriage. my work is trauma-informed, and i am happy to offer somatics and tarot as part of our work together.
we'll talk about what you need, agree on what kind of time we want to spend together, and what kind of energy exchange / trade might work for us. i learn immensely from each person i work with as i walk my own path towards parenthood, and am into trading for money, meals, bodywork, herbs, leather, tattooing, jewelry, mentorship, and possibly other things, too!
