my work is to support you in building more fluent communication and collaboration with the embodied wisdom that is your birthright. i have over a decade of experience doing community support work, often within queer & trans communities, around issues including gendered violence, chronic illness, madness/mental illness, non-monogamy, healthy relationships, substance use & addiction, major life transitions, leather & kink, creative practice, and trauma of many types, including that resulting from systemic oppression. my approach is grounded in mad pride/liberatory mental health models, harm reduction, self-accountability, and skillful consent. my training is eternally ongoing and unconventional. i am committed to being shaped by people who center dignity for me and those i serve in the skills and perspectives they teach.
i live and make family as a white settler in tio'tia:ke, a longtime gathering place of many indigenous nations, on unceded territory traditionally cared for by the kanien'kehá:ka people. i grew up near the ocean on kumeyaay territory, and offer services to people in many other places. as someone who benefits from historical and ongoing colonization, i am working to hold that power with integrity and accountability. i am a cis queer femme who understands herself through many lineages of blood, choice, and impact. i believe that all bodies are wise, and that this wisdom is at the heart of transformation: for personal and collective healing and for social change, which are all intertwined.
